SOLD / Baseball being such a unique American activity, I often use baseball imagery in my art to symbolize aspects of American Culture. In this piece I comment on a time when Blacks were assigned their own water fountains, public bathrooms, schools, and as shown here even their own sections at ballparks, roped off by chicken wire. Back then it was called Separate but Equal but has always been racist.
