Commentary: This work references “The Wall” that Trump made a central part of his campaign for president and which at the date of this piece's completion still looms large in his demands for immigration reform. To many, if not most Americans, this “wall” represents an approach to resolving our immigration problems that is both overly simplistic and cruel – a national disgrace in the making.
