Commentary: Our crumbling infrastructure is an outward manifestation of our country's inner soul. There are major fissures in the fabric of our society separating Whites from people of color, Rich from Poor, Urban from Rural, etc. We are a nation in desperate need of maintenance, both materially and spiritually. (We could use a big sign that reads “Nation Under Repair”).
